We are sorry to announce we are no longer holding Multigun Matches in Burnet TX.
Thank you for the suport in building the Multigun portion of our club over the past two and half years.
We hope you will join us at Best of the West in Liberty Hill for our
Annual Groundhog Day HoseFest in February, and of course our monthly IDPA matches!
Each match consists of 5 stages designed to be practical, challenging, and of course fun! You will notice our stages have higher round counts and more targets giving you a ton of trigger time and training.
We hope you will find our matches challenge you in accuracy, speed and endurance! Membership to our club is not a requirement to participate in our matches, but greatly appreciated. New shooters are always welcome.
Matches are expected to last 5-6 hours depending on the number of participants, being on time for check in, everyone helping resetting stages and help breaking down equipment at the conclusion of the match.
Rules and Par Times
Volunteers are vital for set up to help us begin the match on time, as well as help to tear down stages and put the equipment away. If you would like to help please text John Crowder at 512-568-1911 for information.Thank you for helping out before and/or after the matches, volunteers makes it all possible!
Safe Areas For Handling Firearms
Range Officers and scorekeepers are volunteers of the club. They have been tasked with keeping each squad safe and in compliance with official rules of CAPS Club 3 Gun. Respect between our Range Officers, Scorekeepers and Participants is an essential part of our competitive shooting environment. Range Officers have authority over their squad, with ultimate authority falling on the Match Director for situations that require clarification on rules, policy or procedures.
Squads & Participation
Shooters chose a squad at time of registration on practiscore and stay with that squad for the duration of the match transitioning to each stage together. If you do not pick a squad via practiscore by 6:00am on match day or are a walk in, we will assign you to a squad.
Everyone is expected to help tape and reset targets between shooters to keep the match on time. At the end of the match, it is requested and appreciated that each shooter help break down a stage so equipment can be stored away quickly.
