Remember the movie Ground Hog Day?  It started the same everyday (cue Sonny & Cher music here) and always ended a little different.  That is the inspiration for this fun high round count pistol match.

Goundhog Day Hose Fest has an estimated 250 targets over 6 stages.  As a falling steel match, a perfect match is 1 round per target.  Bring as much as ammo as you think you will need!

DIVISIONS

  • Limited - 9mm/38spl caliber or larger. Single stack magazines may not be longer than 170mm, double stack may not exceed 140mm. Handguns with custom or factory installed electronic sights, optical sights, extended sights, compensators, or barrel porting are NOT allowed in this division.
  • Heavy - Handguns must be of 45acp or 45 gap or larger. Pistol magazines may not be loaded more than ten “10” rounds. Handguns with custom or factory installed electronic sights, optical sights, extended sights, compensators, or barrel porting are NOT allowed in this division
  • Open - No limitations on accessories or caliber. Magazine length may not exceed 170 millimeters.
  • PCC - Restricted to centerfire pistol caliber only. Minimum caliber is 9mmx19; maximum is 45ACP. There is no magazine capacity or length restrictions in this division. 
  • Shotgun Auto- Any auto loading shotgun, 8 plus one at start signal
  • Shotgun Pump- Any manual loading shotgun, 8 plus one at the start signal
  • Shotgun Open- no limitation


GEAR

  • Any belts and holsters you would use for IDPA, USPSA, or 3gun are permitted
  • A good quality belt, holster and magazine pouch
  • Plenty of spare magazines.

Par Time & sQUAD eTIQUETTE

  • Time will be set for 120 seconds for each shooter for match flow
  • Competitors will be required to paste and reset the stage as quick as possible
